Holy Week liturgies in the Abbey Church
The Holy Week liturgies in Ampleforth Abbey Church begin with Palm Sunday Mass at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday 28 March.
Monday - Wednesday of Holy Week Mass will be celebrated at 9.00 a.m.
On Holy Thursday, 1 April, the Mass of the Lord's Supper begins at 8.30 p.m. and is followed by Watching at the Altar of Repose in the Crypt. The Gospel of the Arrest brings the Watching to an end at 11.50 p.m.
The Solemn Liturgy of the Passion begins at 3.00 p.m. on Good Friday.
The Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday begins at 10.00 p.m., and Mass on Easter Sunday morning is at 10.30 a.m.
