Community Experiences 2018

These retreats are for anyone between the ages of 18-35 who wants to

explore their faith and the direction their life is taking.

Before participating in the Community Experience we recommend you attend at least one of the Path of Life weekends.  If you have not attended a Path of Life weekend before, please telephone Fr Kevin on
01439 766889 to learn more about the Community Experience and to see whether it is for you.

A Time Apart : A Time To Discover

Saturday 7 – Saturday 14 July

Many great leaders have chosen to take some time apart, to step aside for a while from normal life in order to give themselves a chance to reflect, to deepen their knowledge and their convictions, to discover themselves and life in a new way. For many it proved to be a defining moment in their lives, and they have emerged with a new sense of purpose and conviction that has guided and inspired their lives.

We invite you to do something similar: To come away for a while, choosing to live according to a more peaceful rhythm where you have time to breathe, to relax, to reflect, to read, and also to eat, talk, and pray together with other young people. Each day there will be space for time alone, for walks or some other shared activity, and short input from different members of the monastic community. Why not come and see what you might discover? …

As places are limited we ask that you make a  £50.00 deposit for the Community Experience.

Further details are available within the booklet or on our website. Do contact us even if you are not able to attend one of our weekends as we can arrange a visit or meeting at an alternative time.

“You will show me the path of life, the fullness of joy in your presence.” (Psalm 16:11)
